I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might know something (anything!) about these families. I have a fairly detailed record of the Farrars at this time but would like more information on the Brumages and VanPelts. My grandparents were Matthias J. Farrar, Jr. & Pluma Dell VanPelt. My g-grandparents were Matthias J. Farrar, Sr. one of the first settlers in Round Springs/Victor area and Nathan & Sarah (Brumage) VanPelt. My gg-grandparents were Wm. Jackson Brumage and Elizabeth Dent. All resided in Mitchell County from the 1870's.
