The two Kensington newspapers published then are microfilmed and available for ILL from the Kansas State Historical Society.

Once there, follow the link to "Research & Collections". On that page you will find a link to "Newspapers", follow that and you will be at a search page. Search for Kensington in Smith County for the time period of 1888 to 1890. The results page will list the newspapers, dates of publication and the microfilm numbers. Copy this information and have your librarian order the films. You might also want to take a look at the ILL policy link from the search page.
