According to the Haskell County history, "100 Years Beneath the Plow", Ed COLBURN moved to Haskell County and settled in Santa Fe. His sister, Mae, their parents Mr & Mrs J. F. COLBURN, and Ed's son, Jack, moved from Chicago. When Santa Fe was abandoned Ed moved to Satanta. He was active in the Chamber of Commerce and his wife,Elizabeth,was associate matron of the Satanta Chapter #457 Order of the Eastern Star in 1925.
