I'm trying to locate the grave of my 3rd great grandfather so I can go pay my respects. Cannada had been a pvt. in the 23rd MO Vol. Inf., Co. A, during the Civil War. A recently found relative said there was supposed to have been an article in the Dodge City Daily Globe Newspaper about Cannada's death. He was b. 22 Aug 1819 and d. 9 Feb 1918. He was 98 years old when he died of oil heater fumes. He was living with the W. F. Rhoades family who were relatives. I would like to get a copy of the obituary if possible but I don't know if the paper still exists? Appreciate knowing where I could find this newspaper. Thanks Jerry.
