I am looking for any information on William Casper Haynes and his family - wife Elecia Jane Miller - I have Civil War Letters.
I have continued to read and decipher some of the Civil War Letters and found that -
WILLIAM CASPER HAYNES he received a letter from his Grandmother (possibly) Haynes from White County Georgia who owned between 300-400 acres and 15 slaves. In this same letter is a reference to three names TIPTON< McKINEY< TRESTON. He states that his grandmother has only 2 children about 35 yrs old in this same letter and will se her after the war.
He wrote to his mother Mary Ann ??
I also found a reference to a John Elesworth Haynes. He refers to his mother in law Mary Jane Miller, Johnny, and Beckey.
He told Elecia Jane MILLER HAYNES to buy the Silvers Place and build a house on it.
ANY INFORMATION ON ANY OF THESE people would be appreciated.
