Looking for the obituary, cemetery record or date of death of Marcus Lafayette Wilson aka M.L. Wilson. He was born in 1842 in Elkhart Co., IN to John T. Wilson and Nancy Carpenter. In 1860, he joined the Co. K 30th Inf. Reg. IN. I have obtained his military records, but alas his pension records are missing. He lived in Jackson Co., KS after the war and is listed in the 1880 census with his wife Prudence living in Soldier City, Jackson Co., KS. He wrote a letter of affidavit for his sister's widow pension and the letter is dated July 6, 1908 and that he was living in Fort Dodge, Ford Co., KS with his wife Millie Wilson.
