I am looking for information on my great grandfather Jesse Emerson Rogers from Eudora, Kansas. He was born in 1895, married Myrtle Wilmoth McCunningham, was a soldier in WWI and died in May of 1922. My grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Rogers (Custer) (Rhoten) was born on August 11, 1922 in Sedan, Kansas. She collected orphans benefits. Having never known her father, she has very little knowledge about him. He died in a VA hospital in St. Louis or Springfield Mo., and was buried in a Quaker cemetery south of Eudora. In the same cemetery plot, are Horace M. Rogers, 1866-1959; and May E. Rogers, 1867-1899, who were likely his parents. My grandmother says they were Quakers. She also believes Jesse had a brother who worked at a business college: Chillicothe?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
