Jack Stine was my Grandfather. Born April 25, 1911 in Kansas. Died 1978 in Jackson, Mississippi and buried in Osawatomie, KS. His father, Perle Wellington Stine, born May 09, 1877 in Neosho Rapids, KS., and died January 1940 in Emporia, KS., married to Marian Frances Chadwell, then to Hazel ?
His father John (?) Stine, born in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, or Tennessee.
States on Perle's death certificate that John was born in York. (notice period) Tennessee. No York, only Yorkville, in Gibson County Tennessee.
Need information. Perle had 3 children with 1st marriage: Jack, (my grandfather), Nona and Gladys Thompson. Second marriage had 9 children:
Jimmy, Jay, Jack, John, Phyllis, Billy and 3 others. Perle had 4 sisters:
Bertha, Lummie, Meda and Ella. Ella moved to California where she died in a Mental Hospital.
