Can someone please help me to understand the tombstone information regarding my grandfather? He was at Ft. Riley in 1910 and the inscription reads "PV7 TRP D7 Calvary". I would like to find records but am having trouble because 1910 was too late for the Spanish American War and too early for WW1.
