I am looking for the Palmer line that moved for Ill. to Republic Co., Kansas and they had children. The one that I know of was Hester Elena (Palmer) that married Jacob and Eliza Ross son or Stepson to Jacob. Chauncey Monroe Messenger and he was 40 and she was 18 years old. She was born in Peoria, IL. area. in 1856 and married Chauncey at Republic Co., Ks in 1873 and had 10 children she died in Clarksburg,Kansas not far from Fort Scott, Ks. and this is where she was buried with her Oldest daughter that died at the age of 15 years old. They are buried in the same plot.
