I am looking for SHAW ancestors who lived in Montgomery Co. (around the Coffeyville area) and ran a newspaper there. The time period was probably around 1890-1940.My ancestors were part Indian (Cherokee). Have been searching for our lost Shaws and have hit lots of brickwalls. Surnames are Shaw,Staggs,McFarland,McCorkle,Martin,Noble,Maupin and others. The Shaws migrated probably from Missouri or Parke County, Indiana. Would love to hear from any Shaws!
