Am looking for any information concerning Morimer Wiltsey MURRAY
in Wilson Co., KS, circa 1870-1890. In Co. history he is listed
as V.G. in the Fredonia Lodge #75, IOOF in 1871, and as a member
of Phil Harvey Post #98 GAR as a charter member and first Senior
Vice Commander in 1882. His eldest daughter Fannie was married
to Worthington BAILEY in 1884. I am trying to find any
information about his parents or other family. He was born in
Bedford Co., PA 21 Aug 1832, and served in the 1st MO Cavalry. He
later settled around Kendrick, OK, and died there 30 May 1907. His
wife was Mercy Ellen SAVAGE, and they were married 6 Jul 1856 in
Van Buren Co., IA. He was a farrier, and a blacksmith. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thomas & Ellen GLASGOW were living in Wilson Co.,
near Altoona in 1870. Thomas died ca 1873, prob-
ably in Wilson Co., since Ellen was still living
there in 1875. Some of their children were Lee,
Bertha and Warren. Thomas was born in Pa. ca 1824.
Went to Oregon Territory in 1845. Had children
there by unknown wife, possibly Indian. Was marr-
ied to Ellen HORN, born in England, by 1860. They
went back to Pa. by 1862 and then to Ks by 1870.
Will be glad to exchange info.
