Wilkerson was a Vet of the Mexican War was released on a Medical Discharge. Not sure if he recieved a pension. His Wife recieved a pension from 1887(?) until her death in 1913. Wilkerson was in Union Village, Johnson County, Indiana in 1861. He has one brother Elisha that as far as i know never left Kentucky and one Sister who is not known but who i think may have ended up in Washington County, Indiana.
