I am seeking information on a Wm. J. Le Huquet who possibly worked for the Kansas City Fire Department. He was born 3 Sep 1890 and died 17 Oct 1954. He is buried in Versailles, MO. Is there any way of getting information about William from the Fire Department records as to whether he was married and who his parents were? They were married in Anderson County, Kentucky in 1846. There are three children that I am aware of : William G. b: 1848 in Kentucky, Samuel B. b: 1850 in Kentucky and Mary S. b: 1861 in Indiana. Wilkerson was a Vet of the Mexican War was released on a Medical Discharge. Not sure if he recieved a pension. His Wife recieved a pension from 1887(?) until her death in 1913. Wilkerson was in Union Village, Johnson County, Indiana in 1861. He has one brother Elisha that as far as i know never left Kentucky and one Sister who is not known but who i think may have ended up in Washington County, Indiana. HANDRAHEN, it could be spelled this way as the census is difficult to read the film. It appears that he was 50yrs and Ellen was 52yrs both b. Ireland. 2 children listed, Ellen middle initial not ledgable, age 10yrs and son Cornelius age 11yrs. There is the possibility they are related to my gggrandmother Katharine Ryan Handrahen Bourke, who moved to Leavenworth ca 1864 with son James and remarried in Mar 1867 to Michael Bourke in the Immulate Conception church, so her 1st husband must have been deceased. Benjamin R. Miller and Mary were found on the 1900 census in Wyndotte Co. with eight of their 13 children listed. I have not been able to find them again on the census, however they lived in the same place and they had five more children. Benjamin died either in Kansas or Missour (kansas city area) some tme in the 1940's I think. Mary died earlier when her last child was around 5yrs. old, she died on Christmas morning but I do not have the date.
