I have researched in Elkhart co., but am still missing details for this family. -- Daniel Shriver md. Lavinia Nuzum 11 May 1837 in Monongalia Co., West Virginia. Shortly afterwards they must have moved to Indiana. They are in Elkhart Co. in the 1850 and 1860 census. Their children were: Noah b. 1837, John b. 1838, Joshua b. 1840, William b. 1844, Rufus Lavern b. 6 Mar 1847, Alpheus b. Sep 1850, Edith Ann b. 1853, Matilda b. 1855, Phebe b. 1858, and Daniel b. 1860.
