My G-grandfather Charles Crooks lived with a Kalb family in Baldwin after his mother died in 1890. My grandmother visited this family often during early 1900's They were cousins but I don't know how they connect. I have pictures of their two story home, Mrs. Kalb, dau. Emma & sons Arthur & Howard Kalb.
