I found a John L. Shinkle with wife Arminda J. in Verdigris Township, Wilson Co. Census 1910(and family), didn't know if you wanted or needed that informaton. John L. was 38 and born in MO it said and parents born in IN. Of course, anyone knows that the places of birth vary from census to census.

I check the two cemeteries that I have read in the Verdigris township, the Coyville Cemetery or Hunter Cemetery and the Caley Cemetery. Just a quick glance over as I haven't got them alphabetized yet. I had some Shinkle's in the Caley cemetery but they were all children one passing in 1970 and the other 3 the same day (18 Jan 1977) ages 11, 10 & 3 years. Greenwood County & Woodson County are a rocks throw from the Coyville area (Verdigris Township). At least one son of John L. went to Greenwood and one stayed in Wilson, the Fall River Township. Haven't made it over to read that cemetery yet. If you want any other info let me know.
