Obituary of JAMES ENGLISH |
Mrs. Charles Haldeman, who now lives near Wilmore,
received word recently that her father, James English, had died at his
home in Eureka, Kans.
Mr. English was a Civil War veteran and at the time of his death was nearly 77 years of age. He was a member of Co. I, 45th regiment of Pennsylvania volunteers and served the entire length of the war. He spent the last six months of the time in the Salisbury prison. |
